I really hate the idea that stay at home moms have it easy, like they're just on permanent vacation. I love being able to stay home to take care of my kids, but that still involves A LOT of work. You know why you pay somebody else to watch your kids if both parents work? Because it's a JOB.

I think it's men or women who don't know any stay at home moms, when I was younger I always thought "Oh it's easier than work, I wanna be a SAHM!", but then my aunt had 3 kids and she stays home with them and she is like a super hero to me now! It's an insanely difficult job and most moms do not get a break. I'm not sure if I'll be able to stay home yet, but either way, I believe there should be a day... Or a week, that celebrates stay at home moms and gives them a break or treats or something!
@crgieser18 mine either, but for some reason he thinks it's easy for me 🙄 Just because I'm better at it doesn't mean it's easy, lol
Ha!! My husband can't last 1/2 a day without totally frustration! Bahaha!
@tayler @crgieser18 I think it's mostly men who think it's just this glamorous, easy lifestyle. Most women know better, lol
I've worked as an RN for 5+ years. Being a stay at home mom is harder than and 60+ hour work week I've ever worked as a nurse.
I agree! I am not a stay at home mom, sometimes I say i wish I was but I have weekends off and by Sunday night I am ready to go back to work and ready for my daughter to go to school! Lol. It's most definitely a hard job, and I praise the mothers that do it! ❤
