Hey ladies how long did it take for your body to be normal and start your period after a miscarriage…

Took me a whole year.

My period would come the month after the miscarriage, but the month of my miscarriage I would bleed a lot and have big blood clots and placenta (I think) would come out during that time too

I'm pretty sure I started mine yesterday it was light now today is like medium.

@mary925 Yeah it took a while for me. My periods would be irregular or just not come at all. And I couldn't get pregnant until a year later.

@pierced_momma, sounds scary. They had to do a procedure for me to take my twins out. I only bleed that day and after that no bleeding until yesterday, that procedure happen like 3 1/2 weeks ago.

@mary925 it was more upsetting than painful honestly. It could be your period but if you feel like something is abnormal you should go to the doctor

@juliaschade41, omg that's sad. I hope it doesn't take me that long to try again. Weren't using nothing now. But still I hope it doesn't take long to get pregnant.

@pierced_momma, yeah I could handle the pain , but emotionally going through that was very upsetting. I'm pretty sure it's probably my period. I'm not in pain or anything or soaking blood. We'll see how it goes. Because yesterday was just like spotting / light bleeding and today is like more of a medium flow.

First off so sorry for your loss😭. When I had my miscarriage i didn't get my period for 6 months exactly 😬 my hormone levels took forever to go back to normal . I hope it doesn't take too long for you ❤️ praying for you momma 😘

I believe that was my period normally my periods only last for 4 days and today's the 4th day and I don't see no blood nomore but the first , second , third day was a medium flow so I think I'm getting back to normal then. When I was having my miscarriage I never had cramps or bleeding heavy , it was spotting , they did my ultrasound and told me both of my babies had no heart beats so they schedule a procedure that following Monday I had found out on a Thursday evening about the ultrasound results.
