I haven't always been a family oriented person, but since being with my so... I've become one. His family is always together and help each other out. One thing I don't agree with is constantly having my child around his brother. He and his girlfriend argue, get physical, he calls her a bitch, etc... When I've expressed this, his one aunt says "oh but he loves the baby." My initial thought is and....? He doesn't love him enough to have respect and to keep his personal business behind closed doors. I don't want my son growing up thinking that's how you treat a woman/partner..... Anyone have a similar situation with family?

@starting_over39 Yeah I totally agree and I would never not have him around his uncle, but I would never leave him alone with him. Idk if you saw I posted before that I asked him to drop my son off at his aunt's house and he instead took my child to his friends (who I don't even know) for hours without telling me. I care for him I do and I expect nothing from him because he obviously doesn't respect himself. So why even address it? He's very short tempered and also pops pills, so that doesn't help. Like I said I'm fine to be around him, but it's very limited. I won't go out of my way to be in his presence, if you know what I mean.
No family is perfect that's for sure... That being said 🤔.. it's your choice who you want to have around your child. He is a very close relative so I would take into consideration and I'm sure he loves your son but he also doesn't show your child or anyone much respect by cursing and disrespecting his girlfriend but most of himself. You can't expect someone to give you something they can't even give themself. Seems to me he doesn't respect himself much either an has significant anger issues but as I stated earlier no family is perfect but we love them just the same. Some are easier to love than others lol that's for sure 😂😉. There are worse family dynamics out there that is when you go running 🏃to another city lol
