Experience with having gallbladder taken out shortly after having your little one? I found out about half way through my pregnancy that I had pregnancy related gall stones. I've had a few attacks since then, but the worst was this past Sunday. I ended up in L & D for almost 8 hours to be monitored. I was told that it will be coming out after he is born. I've never had any surgery of any kind never even an overnight stay in a hospital for anything and I'm scared to death!!!
Mine was infected (no stones) and removed at 19- easiest surgery I ever had. Within 2-3 days I was completely back to myself and if it's done laparoscopically it leaves very tiny incision marks about the size of a pinky nail.
I had mine removed 4 months after having my first daughter. I found out while I was pregnant with her. Surgery was a breeze and I feel 20x better! I'm able to poop everyday, no more attacks and I can eat whatever I want now!
My gallbladder was removed alone with a ton of stones after my son was born years ago. The doctor said he could fill a beanbag with the amount of stones that were in me. The surgery itself wasn't bad. It was a minimally invasive surgery done by laparoscopy. I have 2 tiny incisions near my abdomen. I recovered within a few days. Changed my eating habits drastically after that and lost a ton of weight.
Don't worry to much and best wishes.
My husband has his taken out. And my friend had hers taken out right after she gave birth for the same reason. No reason to be scared but you will have to change your diet.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I know I've posted this before but when your water was leaking did it stay leaking or just with movements or what? Did you get contractions shortly after or no? I rolled out of bed and felt warmth leak out but Idk if it was possibly urine or what...never had it happen. It didn't smell like anything really...I know I should either call l&d or go in but I just want some experiences please. I want to wait a bit just in case it's nothing.
I knew I was having it too easy.. My luck finally ran out
Went in today at 35+6 only to be told baby girl is frank breech. I've gone this long and have only ever been given good news and have really had a straight-forward, no complications pregnancy.
I thought I would have made lots of friends on this app truth is I've never had any conversation with anyone lol
I have no friends! ?
I have no actual proper friends! I never go on nights out cos I don't have friends to go with! It doesn't usually bother me but it's starting too! My oh is busy helping his friend move today and then tonight he's out at the boxing with his mates and out after! Rhys is at his dads so it's just me and Isabella! ??
Thanks everyone for the uplifting stories, hopefully everything goes good 🤞🤞
