@halifax6, exactly!!! My boyfriend was trying to make me feel better about it and was like well what's the worst they can tell you 🙄 Like thank you for trying to make me feel better, but please shut up because you're not reassuring me in anyway 😂😂 Thank you so much!!! I've always had an irrational fear that I won't be able to have kids, and now that Im pregnant and have to do this I have the fear they will tell me I can't have anymore. Definetely working myself up for no reason 😂🙄

@bklosxo I know the feeling. I remember getting a letter from planned parenthood and I read it as YOU have cancer. Lol so I definitely know how scary it can be, especially having to have a test. Most likely it's nothing, and I'll be hoping for the best for you.

@nomaci, ugh I can only imagine! I'm so not looking forward to this! I'm hoping to not bleed much or else I know then I'll be over thinking THAT and thinking something is wrong with my baby 😂 Hormones just have me all over the place today and thinking the worst of the outcome. 😩 Thanks for the info ! 😁

I had one. I was not put to sleep. It didn't hurt, just pinched, but felt frigging weird. I didn't really have any side effects afterwards, maybe a smidge of blood; I just couldn't have sex for a few days.

I had one in 07 it wasn't bad as far as pain wise. It's uncomfortable and scary as a whole, but they just go in and take small samples. The Dr made me cough everytime she took one. I remember some minor cramping for the rest of the day, and some light bleeding.

@bebefever94, did you have a colposcopy or a colonoscopy? Mine has to be done due to abnormal Pap smears, but I know it's a quick exam so I'm wondering if you meant colonoscopy instead?!

I have it's really not bad they put you to sleep u don't feel a thing I had a bit of gas after but no pain or recollection
