Was talking to a friend of mine and she asked me why I didn't have my daughter's twin listed on this app... after crying for almost 30 minutes or so, I finally added my little Lost Boy! We never had a name picked out for him and technically we weren't even sure if it was a boy or not. It just breaks my heart to think about the child that didn't form completely!!😭😭😭

@mittenmommy17x thanks. Sadly it runs in the family. I lost my twin sister. My dad's parents had 2 sets of twins that didn't make it and 1 set of triplets that didn't make it. Sadly either they didn't form completely or they didn't last the first day after birth.

@mittenmommy17x yes I had two babies when we first found out I was pregnant. I had a lot of complications with the pregnancy. I ended up having kidney stones, I was super dehydrated even though I was drinking two and a half gallons of water a day. (The doctors watched me for 24 hours at one point and even measured how much water I was drinking.) I was constantly underweight for the fact of having twins. My stomach had stopped growing according to the doctor's once I hit 5 and a half months pregnant. My Lost Boy apparently only developed half a heart, there was almost no waste down on the body, and there was no sign of brain activity for him. When I went in 4 an early check up a month before my children were officially due, I started having massive pains and that's when the doctors said that I still didn't have enough liquids in me and the fluids in the sack where not enough to sustain my daughter even so they induced me and had to do an emergency C-section to pull her out so she would survive. We donated my Lost Boy to see if his body would be able to show any signs of why he didn't form completely or what might be preventable for anyone in the future who has that problem.

@mittenmommy17x was she jaundice? My little girl only had 89% of her liver working when she was born. We spent a week in the hospital together. They kept her under the UV lamp, and kept a close eye on me because I lost so much blood during everything that they were afraid I might die if I rejected the blood transfusions.

@mittenmommy17x that's good that nothing was wrong with her. Yeah I would expect them to at least keep her a few days just to check her make sure everything is okay for her since she was so early.

@mittenmommy17x well we normally go to bed about 8:39 and she will sleep all the way until we wake up about 4 in the morning. She will then eat for about 30 to 45 minutes and then she goes back to sleep until about 8:15 or so. Then she wakes up again and we'll eat for about 30 minutes goes back to sleep wakes up about 10 and then she is up for the rest of the day. Around 5 or 6 p.m. she starts getting sleepy again so I let her take a 30-minute nap only during that time. Then I make sure that she's up and awake at least by 6:37 and we play as much as possible we do tummy time which makes her mad of course and she screams and almost wears herself out and then we cuddle and I give her a warm bath and that's usually about 8 and then she eats again and then we go back to bed for the night.
