@alyssa_hoffmaster, I just feel like I want to take over because ive had to force it to get moving already. I wanted my shower at the beginning of this month and now it's not until the middle of next. And now I'm forcing the invitations to get done so people actually know and will actually show up.... I wanted easy, that's why I was happy someone volunteered to plan my baby shower. But she's not even doing it. She's only doing the parts she wants to do. 😭
My same two friends that threw me a reveal offered to do my baby shower so I took it but they were super unorganized when they planned the reveal, they didn't communicate with each other and didn't do anything until the week of so I offered to help with the planning of my shower even though I shouldn't have to 🙄 but it was waaaay to stressful for just the reveal party and I want my shower to be perfect 🙁
@courtney.welsh, exactly.. my one friend was like you shouldn't have to help with anything, it's your shower but I'm like well last time was crazy and stressful over a small reveal party, imagine how stressful it's going to be for a big shower 🙄
@courtney.welsh, I just envy ppl that have had someone plan the whole thing without them having to worry about it, like why can't I have friends or family like that 😂 I appreciate my friends 100% for volunteering but they definitely make it stressful 😂😂
@courtney.welsh, trust me I know exactly how you feel, my sister and mom are planning it and I wanted it beginning of september, well they were getting the decorations and stuff all figured out but couldn't find a venue. And they kept putting it off and I would argue that we need to figure the venue out first so we can pick a date and invite people before it last minute.... I was so stressed for months! Now it's in a few weeks and I feel better... hang in there. It will all come together soon!
