Can a uti heal itself? I had one and it hurt but I haven't had any pain for like 2 days
I had one at the beginning of my pregnancy that went away on its own, but it came back even worse , so I would go to your Dr now just to get antibiotics, because the 2nd time around was so painful I went to the hospital for it
@marinarose, I've had it 3 times & it suckssss lol
But hope you get better & just mention that to your OB
It can if it's not a bad uti, if the symptoms come back anytime soon i'd go to the doctor bc the only way to make sure that it's gone away completely is to take antibiotics. you don't wanna ignore it so long it can cause a worse infection not only in your urinary tract but your bladder & kidneys too if it gets bad enough. there's ways to cope through it if it's not bad but i'd def keep an eye on it
@ashleea9898, makes sense. I've never had one before. I'm sure it's still there just the pain isn't
I guess when you're pregnant, your body is focusing on growing your baby & not that much on healing you . That's why it's harder sometimes to get better when you catch a cold or a bug when you're pregnant too
My uti's used to heal by themselves as long as I would drink cranberry juice & a lot of water but I tried to do that when I got one while being pregnant & that didn't help a lot . I literally just suffered waiting for it to heal . So I went to my OB to get antibiotics .
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I've always gotten rid of mine by drinking a shit ton of water.
