My daughter just turned a year old and only has two teeth, is that normal? I don't see anymore…

My daughter had 0 on her birthday and 3 days later one popped through then a second 1 week later and she just got two more on the bottom like 2 weeks ago at the same time

@skysmommy04 I'm just worried she got her first two teeth about 10 months. And nothing since then. She will be 13 months on the 26

Have you looked at her gums notice any swelling ? After her first it took a while I swore she'd only have those two and she'll never walk lol she just started walking slowly last week

Babies can grow in their first tooth in at 6 months. My niece is 9 months and she has two or three on top and like four on the bottom

@skysmommy04 I was so happy when my daughter started to walk that was more of a relief for me.. she is chunky monkey lol. anyways I haven't noticed any swelling but the last time I checked was just a few days ago. She is always chewing on things so maybe I'll check again

My niece didn't have a full mouth of teeth until she was almost three. She finally got her back teeth close to her third birthday, but really didn't start getting them until after her first. Her doctor was never concerned 🤷🏼‍♀️

@oilymom oh my i feel like that should be a concern, but I will have to just wait.

@allycm, I say, as long as she is developing in every other way you shouldn't be too worried. If she is flourishing and still learning, it may just be a late bloomer sorta thing. Don't worry yourself too much, Mamma! Every baby is different ❤️

Me niece didn't get any until after her first birthday, the dentist actually said it was a plus since the teeth are usually healthier (less chance of cavities, stronger, ect.)

@ashleybradford92 you know I heard the later they get there teeth the healthy they are but I have always been around children that got teeth young starting at 5 months! So I just got a little worried thought about setting up a dentist appointment for my little girl

@allycm if it makes you feel better go for it hun. They'll go ahead and clean the two she has, plus put some preventative medicine on them as well. I know the feeling though my first was born with teeth lol, but my second just got her first a bit ago.
