Does anyone else baby not like to latch Ass much because you give them bottled breast milk sometimes…

My son prefers breast over bottle. He takes bottle well but seems more comfortable during breastfeeding.

I just pumped at first for a couple of reasons, but after 2.5-3 weeks I wanted to stop pumping and just nurse directly from the breast. The transition was hard for him bc they have to put more work in to nurse rather than taking the bottle. He didn't want to put in that extra work, he wanted to be able to eat and go straight back to sleep quick and easy. So yes, I had this struggle as well. My advice is, latch latch latch. If he is super fussy and screaming for bottle, let him get about half way full or at least until he is content and not frantic, then switch to the breast. And latch for comfort in between feedings. He just has to recognize latching as the norm as opposed to the bottle, a little extra work but not impossible. 😊 you can do it momma!

Before 6 weeks it's not recommended to use a bottle or pacifier as it can cause nipple confusion ! As previously said just latch a TON !!!
