Any one else scared that they will go into labor during this hurricane?
@rydersmommy917 that's what I said... they said it's not medically necessary
@mommabear538 why on earth wouldn't they let you stay at the hospital?!?
@rydersmommy917, I'm 37 weeks and 4 days and lost my mucus plug 2 weeks ago and have been having strong contractions that have me dialating and the hospitals wouldn't even let me stay for labor watch for medical shelter. We called 4 hospitals and all the shelters near us. If my water full fledged breaks during this hurricane im screwed!
I'm almost 39 weeks , lost my mucus plug this past Thursday , and having mild contractions.. I live in Tampa Bay. Praying that baby boy waits a few more days .. we are all boarded up and stocked with food and water, have sandbags outside the back door and everything ready .. staying put with the hubby and fur baby. Hope everyone is safe and stays out of labor! 🌀
I'm in what the doctors like to call "early labor " im contracting and dilating but not the way they want in order to keep me and all the shelters near me are full already
I'm having signs of impending labor so its only a matter of time😩 Plus I'm at the shelter because of the hurricane!
I think of how my labor went and how both mine and my daughter's life was at risk.
@rydersmommy917, I went from 1 cm to 3 cm in a matter of hours and from 0 to 10% effaced and was told they could the baby's head and her sac but it's not medically necessary for me to stay in the hospital because I'm in "early labor" when my contractions are strong and doing what they need to... im only 37 1/2 weeks so they tried to stop them, I'm still having contractions.. I guess I'm going to have a home birth. I just hope she's small and doesn't hurt to push her out, and that this labor doesn't kill me pain wise..lol
