Lol A huge S/O to my mom that came all the way from Costa Rica to the US for my child's birth and spent the whole 4 moths she stayed here with my older sister and my nieces👏👏👏 but his paternal Grandma is an angel, we haven't even met yet and she checks on us very often! ❤️ so, I think is worse when the shit comes from your own family...

@ravens_mommy yea, i was trying to stay here for the rest of my husband's kids, but he does like Florida and Georgia better. So If we ever get caught up on utilities and some money saved, the next time he "jokes" about moving back south, i might just take him up on the offer 😉

Why do people have to suck?

@kkmamax2 I never had grandparents that were there. And I wanted my child to have parents that were madly in love and grandparents that spoil her. She at least got my parents.

@kkmamax2 agreed. It breaks my heart that my parents can't see him more. They're great with him and have done So much for us.

@ravens_mommy I know the feeling. I moved over 700 miles away from all my friends and family in May of 2016 and people on my husband's side, have only visited maybe 4 times since I've been here.

@cbrebelkat, @ravens_mommy, I just remember being little and the first thing I did was hug my grandparents. Being so excited to see them. And my kids don't get that and it hurts.

@kkmamax2 Only person I force my daughter to hug is me and I have every right to since I gave birth to her lol

@kkmamax2 true. I don't force him tho. Even if I tell my boy to do something, he won't do it, if he doesn't want to. He's too much like me, in that way.

@cbrebelkat I just can't stand people who act like they want to be apart of a child's life but then does nothing to make it happen. Once we move out of here I won't return to this house and they probably won't see their granddaughter again.

That's another thing, it also sucks that we kinda have to force the girls to give hugs. It shouldn't be like that!!

At least you have your family there for you.

@ravens_mommy yea, that's another thing too. My mil just sits in her chair the whole time we visit her anyway. She's lucky he gives good bye hugs and kisses on command, sometimes.

@kkmamax2 My daughter is getting her first birthday party then after it I'm not throwing another big one. Just family dinner and trips. I have a cousin (and her kids), my dad, stepdad, brother, and mom that actually attempts to be apart of my daughter's life and that's it. None of my boyfriend's family gives a shit about her.

@cbrebelkat Yeah I live with my boyfriend's mom part of the week and my daughter has no word for her because she doesn't hardly interact with her. When she does she's fussing at her not to touch her $400 glasses.

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 in laws suck ass, my family sucks ass. They suck ass so much my kids don't get to have a normal birthday party. My mom is the only one that give a shit about us. It's super sad but it's their lose not my kids cause they have kickass parents 😏

My mil complains about my boy not saying any variation of the word grandma. I'm like well, u know I don't teach him words out of context, so come over more. I live 45 minutes from her and she has visited me once, since May of 2016.

@t143 My mom is great, a little crazy but a great granny. Now my in laws (kinda, I'm not married to the guy) are horrible. We live with them for time being and my boyfriend has his 4 year old on the weekends. They are CONSTANTLY buying her new clothes and toys but they have bought my daughter 3 outfits the entire year and only got her Dollar Tree toys for Easter and Christmas.

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 My mother may treat me badly but is great with my daughter. Now my in laws are the assholes that never check up on their son or granddaughter but blame me for not knowing about her. 🙃🙃🙃
