I saw a post on Facebook in regards to the extreme weather that's been happening that suggested putting all important paperwork and valuables in your dishwasher as it's sealed. My home has gone through 3 floods (not talking hurricanes just strictly talking flooding), the dishwasher does NOT keep water out. Please, take your important documents with you, don't leave them behind.
