Kinda worried. My 20 month old who's still breastfeeding doesn't drink cow milk. She's still only 24lbs ! :/ I feel like I can't force her to drink it either .. She doesn't like it
@mommytomia_ does she eat things with dairy in them? My daughter likes cheese and cottage cheese. So like I can give her string cheese or cottage cheese for a snack and she's getting all the dairy she needs so it's okay she doesn't really drink whole milk
@myworld94 I agree. I give her vitamin d gummies and yogurt, cheese, etc dairy
I wouldn't worry if I were you! If you look into cows milk it's actually not so healthy for you 😳 There's plenty of healthier ways to get the dairy your body needs
Omg my son is the same way and I ft worried too. The second he sees me pour milk in his cereal he shakes his head no. He just hates milk
I stopped breastfeeding my son a week after his 2nd Birthday , I started weaning him off by letting him chocolate milk , and eventually he stopped breastfeeding.
Ava's 17 months and has never had cows milk, she's still breastfed, and 24lbs! Don't stress. :)
@mommytomia_, yeah girl I wouldn't worry too much especially if she's eating okay and not losing weight. My daughters pediatrician is still on me about my 5 years olds weight but I have never been big so I don't expect her to be either 🤷🏼♀️
@ashleydunn oh wow. My daughter is long and lean! She has been 24lbs for the last few checkups but not losing weight either. Okay, thank you hun
@mama2kyns okay thanks mama. That makes me feel better. Yes, she eats well. Especially cuz she's in daycare but her pediatrician was suggesting I give her more milk and yogurt
Whole milk will not make them gain weight. Some kids are just small. My oldest was on formula then whole milk. She was only 22 pounds and 18 months.. she still drinks whole milk she's 5 now and only 38 pounds she's just tall and lean. As long as she doesn't lose weight...
My youngest has no interest in cows milk either. She takes a sip throws her cup on the ground then comes running to me for her real milkies
@anmarie1 okay that makes me feel better.. we had a checkup today and her pediatrician was making me feel worried. She's also getting s blood test done for anemia this month.
My daughter is 22 months and she is only 22lbs and drinks cows milk so I think your daughter is just fine
She will be fine especially since she's still breastfeeding! My daughter is the same way! Does she eat foods fairly well?
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
I cringe when females say they don't like water and all they drink is soda and juice.... yuck lol
Milk
Does anyone that doesn't drink cows milk still eat cheese, yogurt, ice cream, etc?
Ok now I’m like damn I wish B.B. was still here so I can become a B.B. mom 🤣🤣
So who still drinks caffeine? When I first got pregnant. I completely cut out caffeine. Then I started drinking like maybe just a can of coke every couple of days and now I'm. Drinking coke. Alllll the time. I have a craving for it. It's all I ever want to drink. So I do. I feel bad for it. But Skylar still moves around a lot. Should I be worried?
@mama2kyns yes she does! Thank you
