If you're gaining more weight than recommended during pregnancy does that mean the baby is as well?

I gained 60ish lbs with my first (he was 7lbs 14oz) he came at 37 weeks, a little over 30 lbs with my second (she was 7lbs 11oz) she came at 38 weeks & so far 25lbs with this baby girl & I'll find out Thursday how big she is 😊 I'm due Nov 3rd. Idk if weight gain contributes to it or not but I have big babies lol
