So I told my MIL that my babies will only have big birthday parties for major milestones because it's alot of work/money. Ages:1,5,10,15,21. Well she wasn't for it.. she gave me this stank face look and said why?? With an attitude.. mhmm because thats what your son an i agreed on..never did I say I wouldn't celebrate their bday in between..with cake, dinner and presents. I'm in the middle of planning my daughter's 1st bday that's on the 23rd, is she involved NOPE. Has she offered to help in anyway NOPE! I know it's not her daughter, I don't expect her to pay for anything, but lending a hand would be nice..since she wants to always put her 2 cents in.... ughh annoyed!!

The ones that do the least always have the most to say lol plAnning parties is sooo much work! You should've threw in "plus no one offers to help" so she couldn't felt dumb lol

Agreed. I had the same issue with my baby shower and did they lift a finger? Nope. 😒 Keep standing your ground.

@lionesssmommyy I agree,it is a lot of work. I just had my son, and we just started planning at the beginning of the month. She wanted to get my cake for the baby shower, I had rubber ducky theme I wanted the cake simple just blue with white frosting to make it look like bubbles and I had the ducks to put on top. When I said that she said girl your doing to much I was just going to get it plain white. My bf, over heard her and we went and ordered the cake the next day. The color and the frosting bubbles wouldn't of cost her anything the cake was the same price plain or decorated. She was just being an asshole.

@mimirocha oh I will, they didn't even help decorate girl. My pregnant ass and my bf we're decorating the night before so it would be less to do the next day.we were there until 2am. Only one that helped was his younger brother and dad. His mom, sister, and other brother didn't even say hey let me help you and told me to go inside. Pshhhhfttt yeah right. Now I don't even ask, I'll get shit done myself, the way I want it.

Did I mention when my daughter turned 6 months old i wanted to get her a half a bday cake so we could all celebrate . She thought it was stupid..and said is she going to have a cake every month and laughed like it was some sort of joke.. So when she did turn 6 months, my bf and I decided to get her cupcake instead and we celebrated her 6 months at home And we didn't invite no one. Did I care he'll no, I did send her pics..i was being petty!! She got butthurt!!!
