Frustrated... my husband has worked the same public safety job for 10+ years. They FINALLY offered him a day shift position there and he had to turn it down because it would be a $2-$3/hour pay cut. 😬😩 I hate that for him. I know how much he's really wanted day shift, and for so long. Why can't we just catch a break?

Aw I'm so sorry. That really sucks. I know how hard it is to work night shifts. I can't even imagine doing it and having a child as well. I wish you guys luck! Maybe it's a blessing in disguise and something better is coming along in the future

I really hope that's what it is. For him to want this for so long, and it not working out, I feel really bad for him. There's no one else they want to offer the day shift position to at this time and they are trying to get the head of HR to change his decision. He won't. He says it would be unethical to let him keep his pay since it's a 'voluntary demotion' 😪 they find one way or another to always screw things up. @aboutellesbabes
