Why would u guys have to move? If youre still in California when your insurance ends, u can sign up for Medi-Cal health insurance. Its free for low income people & they will cover u & the baby. & if the father isnt on the birth certificate when baby is born I dont think it will be trouble getting full custody & getting out of California

He has no parental rights on the birth certificate or not until there is a court order which isn't just given.👍🏻

Well in the state of California you theoretically have 100% custody until he takes you to court. Even if he's put on the birth certificate. All that does is establish paternity which is what would be established if he filed for custody/visitation. So you're just skipping a step. Even if you leave him off the birth certificate, once he files for custody/visitation it goes on there .

And that's a whole other story... his grandparents don't like me and that's who he lives with.. he's on their will and in order to stay on it, he needs to keep them happy...

Where would you move to? I'm sure there's plenty of programs to help you out. I'm in WA and there are so many programs willing to help

@caityyy_lynnn, he's entitled to it so putting him on the birth certificate or not, it'll still establish him as the birth father and put him on there. And yikes, that's a frustrating situation. I hope it all works out best for your daughter mama💜

@kailey.gallentine, I know he's entitled but he like requested it but the army is going to pay for it regardless if I plan on taking him to court to get child support. With all of this going on though and him not leaving her birth state before me, can make it harder on me.

@caityyy_lynnn, well child support and custody are two different cases. The only thing similar is you have to establish paternity. And I could be wrong but it might be where ever you live. So if you move to Arizona, his visitation would have to be in Arizona. No judge is going to take a newborn child from its mother for 50/50 for a VERY long time. So you've got awhile. So let it all play out. Who knows, he could skip out after she's born. My baby daddy swore up and down he was going to file and take her from me so I wouldn't see her and he's gone now and haven't heard from or seen him in 4 months🙌🏻just take it day by day mama 💜

@kailey.gallentine, well he's not going on the birth certificate and he hasn't fought me over it. He hasn't fought me over anything really besides wanting 50/50 but hasn't mentioned since. I don't talk to him and he doesn't talk to me.
