@twinmomma2b, it's really your preference as you know your babies best. Most will tell you not to push it or rush it as their tummies can't really digest it yet. My daughter is 7 months old and I gave her Mac n cheese in her feeder and she absolutely loved it. I don't do it often because I don't know what she can handle yet. She doesn't really care for the baby foods much. All they really need for the first year is milk. My daughter always wants my food so I give her soft things only like mashed potatoes, avocado, etc. I let her chew on a thick carrot for her teeth.
@ilovemychildren thank you I was wondering about that! I have given them pieces of frozen banana in their teether paci thing for their gums tho Sora loved chewing on it but kai could care less lol
@morganmommy79 yeah I gave them the frozen banana in there pacifier thing with the holes to chew on cause their gums have been bothering them and Sora loved it.. Kai not so much lol but I was wondering whom for like mushed I up food ... My sister gave her baby stuff like that at like 3months
But wait until 6 months because their digestive tracks are not mature enough to handle foods until then. Even if your baby shows signs of being ready sooner than that they recommend waiting because of the immaturity of their digestive tract the food might cause problems like food sensitivities and allergies.
I saved fruits for last to try. We did all the non sweet veggies before any fruits because once they get a taste of the sweet stuff its all down hill from there lol that's all they want then you're stuck with two babies who hate their veggies and it becomes a battle every meal time 😂
I have my baby frozen banana slices in her mesh feeder at 4 months. She LOVED it and it soothed her teething gums. I also tried avocado and peaches. But I make sure she eats her veggies also

Six months. You'll want to talk with the doctor first, just in case. But I waited until six months to introduce any food, especially fruit.
I actually started with vegetables so he would get used to the sweet stuff.
