We came home from the hospital ona Friday ..tht Monday I called to report her birth and to get her insurance set up..I was told I had to wait til tht Thursday to pick out her insurance plan..set up the insurance and sent an appt request to the doctor they didn't call tht Friday..the weekend passed and yesterday they were closed... she still hasn't seen the doctor for the check up that was supposed to happen 2-3 days after we got out...the doctor office I picked out for her (my son goes there as well) is saying there isn't any available days until 9/21...my baby girl will be a whole month by then..shit is makin me madd !!

It took me like 6 weeks to get any information for my son! They never even asked until he was a month old. And as long as they knew the plan they didn't need his insurance number at first.thankfully lol
@sawyersmom, none of the insurance was set up when we got out the hospital...medicaid never sent me a gold card for her and the insurance I have never sent me any information to give the doctor office so they could be billed..I just changed her insurance to the plan I have her brother on and now I'm waiting on that card too !!! But I kno it's like that I just never got sent the information for her insurance!
She is covered under your insurance for the first month
Not until she is 4 weeks old they don't. How freaking rude
