Hi all, I'm Jacquelyn and I am on here seeking advice and stories from others. Please no judgement.

I just found out last night that I'm pregnant. I was on the depo shot for a long time so I don't even know how far along I am. I recently also found out that I don't have health insurance. I am 22 years old and my bf is 23. we both recently graduated from college and are searching for "big boy/big girl" jobs. For the mean time, I am a bartender. With just finding out I am pregnant, I have been drinking prior to that which makes me scared. Also, we live in his parents basement. I'm just looking for advice on what to do, or similar stories. I have an appointment tomorrow at 1:30pm for tests and an ultrasound.

Just do your best. Stay positive and make decisions that benefit the baby from here on. I was homeless until 20w when I was pregnant!

but idek if I'm in the right situation for kid. I don't wanna throw anything off track for myself or my bf that we have worked hard for. & my boyfriend is like barely talking to me

@swanson.jacquelyn youll be just fine. Having a child is aa huge responsibilty but such a blessing.

Hard situation. Only you can make the choice. I thought I would go back to work and school after baby but I've enjoyed being with him too much. That said, many ppl do go back right away so they don't always disrupt your life! Definitely changes though. Perhaps when you both see your little one on ultrasound things Will make sense to you both.

I mean my bf is done with school so that's awesome. I have to go back for my masters degree. I just get scared because we don't have our own place and where we live is so expensive. And telling our parents is a whole different anxiety topic!

Well once you figure out your feelings about it all, telling your parents won't be bad. They might be scared at first but They will be excited 😆😀 hoping the best for all of you

Girl I was drinking before I found out I was pregnant I think I was like 3 weeks when I was drinking but then I found out I was pregnant and stopped, it's ok everything should be just fine ☺ p.s. I found out I was pregnant at 8 weeks
