I feel so emotional! As some of you know our beautiful 5 month old boy just got a tracheostomy last Monday. He is still trying to get latching down and gets very frustrated cause it's all different for him. They said it takes a while to get the suck swallow breathe down. And he has a bit of oral adversion so he keeps gaging too but is improving every day! Well they're feeding him through his ng tube 24 oz a day and my pump output isn't that high. Even when I was pumping all day (literally once an hour through the day plus power pumping). I'm now doing every 2 hours and 2-3 power pumps a day and can only manage to get 19 oz. I started getting overwhelmed today cause my stash is running low and I'm now sure how long till he gets back to just nursing. Within 2 hours I had 5 people willing to donate milk for our baby. Just ONE of the ladies alone is going to donate about 200oz! I've been teary eyed every since cause I'm amazed that so many people love this beautiful, perfect little human we made so much!

I really want to exclusively breast feed.. my baby doesn't latch well an i can't pump more than 4 oz a day. I was to stop using formula but I have no idea how to increase my supply no matter how many times I power pump, put baby to breast, pump every 2 hours. my supply never increases as a fact it's dropped I'm barely getting 2 oz a day now :'( I feel like my body is failing me
ok ladys i need to know how to build up my milk i pump because my son wont latch and i can only get a oz to a oz and a half to come out of each boob some times 2 oz if im lucky i eat good drink plenty of water and pump every hour and my son is drinking 4 to 5 oz every 2 3 hours so can anyone help on how to get more milk
Breastfeeding moms: so I am planning on going on a 3 day vacation with my hubby & a bunch of friends to Catalina in May, (my baby won't be going with us) and I do not wanna be pumping and dumping every 2 hours out there.. so if I don't pump or breastfeed for 3-4 days, will my milk supply drop significantly? 😩😩 & I don't know how I'm gonna deal with the engorgement pain if I can't find time to pump out there.
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
How do I produce more milk? I used to pump 5oz...now I’m pumping barely 3oz within two days and getting less. I’m pumping every two hours.
