I don't believe in letting a "boyfriend" discipline your child
If it's not the parents
Hell no
@ilovemychildren, I don't need a parenting class to be a parent or do what I believe is right for my child! If I decide to pop him on his hand or ass for doing bad shit that's what I'll do
If I decide to talk to him or take away his toys that's what I'll do!
Thank you for your unwanted input on this post though!
Then you shouldn't bring your boyfriend into your children's life especially if they are there helping you raise and take care of them.
I honestly think it depends on the age, the boyfriend walked in, in their lives. My boyfriend and I got together when he was a few months old so that is his dad. I allow him to teach my son right from wrong. But I don't allow him to make the major decisions.
@tejuh2m225, right. Takes a lot of time. Especially now that we have kids. It takes extra long to have that trust for
Someone around them !
And I'm not worried about that comment about "hitting" being abuse. Call it what you want. If I don't do it, and discipline my child the police will..school officials will....
So fuck all that
@juliaschade41, talking about a parenting class. I don't need a parenting class to know how to handle my own damn child
If I want to pop his ass that's what I'll do.
@torrey_ girl I had to block this woman cuz she thinks her opinion is above everyone else's. She has pissed off a lot of people on this app.
@torrey_ i agree with you girl!! We got whoopings and were still fine!! Lol a spoon or belt on the appropriate area of the butt cheeks is fine lol this is why kids are brats and think they can get away with things cuz their parents are too afraid to discipline them. Its pathetic.

@ilovemychildren, different strokes for different folks. It varies from person to person
But my boyfriend won't touch my children
@torrey_ oh lol well discipline is definitely not hitting your children.
@ilovemychildren, talking to them and telling them right from wrong yes but no spanking and popping them
No
@ilovemychildren, that's great for you and your family
But it would be a no for me
And my definition of discipline is spanking and whooping
So yeah. No for me.
My "boyfriend" helped me discipline my kids from the gate. He is now my husband and is a great father to all of them
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
