Does anyone plan on breastfeeding up to a year ? Has anyone already been doing it ??

Oh man I've only done it for a month with my first. But plan to go longer, hopefully to 6 months at least.

I plan on breastfeeding mine until about 2 years old. Very beneficial and healthy for them.

That's my goal... only got to 5 months with my first... she was a preemie, and when she went on a nursing strike, I stopped producing... I tried to keep my supply by pumping... but it was just gone! I'm not going to put a lot of unnecessary pressure on myself... my goal would be to breast feed a year, but if I can't, I'm okay with that as well!

My daughter is 16 months and is still breastfed.

I'm breastfeeding my 18 months old still

@dreamermom that's pretty much my plan. Try it and see where it goes
