Did bottle feeding at night help anyone ween their little ones off co sleeping successfully? My boyfriend told me to take him to the rocking chair at night if he's hungry and not feed him in our bed. But I'm so lazy and tired at 3am.. I'm thinking about pumping and having a bottle ready for night feedings. I can just swing my arm over and feed him in his bassinet..

Well it'll def be easier if you all adjust now. Any bottle he takes will work.
@momofdeuce, it's just hard to stay awake while we are in my bed. He's taken advantage of me before. When I first brought Im home he would fake being hungry cause he wanted to cuddle in my bed. If he thought I was asleep he'd spit my boob out and lay his head on it... people underestimate how crafty these guys are 😹😹😹
With the trusting yourself I can agree. If you can't do it then don't. But as far as confusion I doubt that would happen as long as you put him back when done eating.
@kambam, both. I miss cuddling with my boyfriend. But he refuses to sleep in the bed if Wolf is in it with us... it went pretty well last night. He only woke up once and it was around 5 am.
@damiensmommy1117, well I'd probably roll him on his side during the feeding cause that's how he breastfeed and I want him to be comfortable
@momofdeuce, kinda but I want no confusion. Last night I took him to the couch and fed him then put him back in his bed and he was fine. But I was exhausted. I don't trust myself to stay awake while feeding him in my own bed. And I want there to be no confusion. His bassinet is right next to my bed
Be careful feeding him flat on his back. It's easier for babies to choke while they're flat on their back and the milk can go into their ear canals causing ear infections.
Do you want to stop or are you doing it for dad? You can still cosleep with a crib on your side of bed if it fits. Baby will eventually adjust to whatever you do I guess but might not be happy about it
You haven't been successful with feeding him in bed then putting him Back in The Bassinet?
Bottles / breastfeeding
For those of you that breastfeed and pump/bottle feed what kind of bottles do you use? I breastfeed and only use the pumped milk when I go out or if my boyfriend feeds him at night. So he basically gets one bottle a day but the bottles come out way to fast for him and get all over him, I've tried dr browns and the Medela bottles but neither are slow enough. I feel like he's gonna choke. Help.
my son just turned three months yesterday should I be feeding him every four hours? cause I'm pretty bad about feeding him every time he cries and he always takes the bottle so I'm feeding him like every two hours
so my husband wants to feed are baby but the thing is that I will be breastfeeding so idk how it would work. he was thinking that when he wants to feed him he would give him formula but I just want my baby to have breast milk. so then he said why don't you pump your milk out and I'll feed it to him and i thought that would be the best thing but then I'm scared that my baby will get use to the bottle. I need help idk what to do because my husband really wants to feed him :/ and we need to come up...
sitting in a parking lot crying is not how I wanted to spend my night...she isn't latching anymore but she will take her paci with no problem. Guess I'm gonna have to pump and bottle feed

No we just assume that babies will be Independent . When in actuality the first 3 months is the 4the trimester for them and they find comfort in being close to their mother. My son slept in my arms/bed for the first 3 months and then I successfully transitioned him to sleeping in his own room. Granted all kids will not respond or act the same but just to encourage you he isn't being manipulative he's finding comfort and learning how to live outside the womb. Hope you find something that works for you all.
