My partner works full time and I stay at home. I don't claim anything but with Jarrod coming up two and me wanting to put him in nursery for a few hours a day when this new baby comes along I'm just wondering what I'm entitled to. I've been told you get so many hours free If you get tax/child tax credits. If I was to apply for them do I wait till the second baby has came?

I used to claim child tax and still want entiled to anything. Now we don't claim anything at all and it's worse. It's depends on partners income like mine. That's what they look at. When they turn 3 parent can get 30 hours free if you work full time but that's about it x

@vic22, oh well that's pretty shitty. I'm not in a rush to put him in nursery but it would of been nice for that time off with the new baby being here. I'll give it a go and see what they say xxx
