@bosw1805 she doesn't understand because she hasn't gone through it. I'd emphasize on the boundaries and respecting your parenting choices if nothing else. The biggest no no is anyone undermining you when it comes to your child. If not now eventually you'll get tired of it and everything will come to a head. Rather than let it build up. I say nip it in the bud early.

@kimny, YES! Its sad that people like her dont see it that way....sadly shes not the kind of person who would try to understand even if I try to talk to her. One of those people who think they know everything 🙄

You should ask her how can a baby who was use to being inside of you 24/7; having your heart beat and voice to comfort her all day for almost a year be too clingy in a new world where her main source of comfort is you? Not to mention she hasn't even been in the world as long as she probably was in your belly. I'd try to have a serious talk with her about boundaries and respecting your parenting choices as a friend.
