How much karo do yall put in ur babies bottles to stop constipation??

Personally i like to get to the root of the problem before adding too it. The baby is only 3 weeks. Babies needs time for there body to adjust to being outside of you. They need to adjust to digesting formula which is brand new and hard on a new tummy. My daughter took about 4 weeks before her gas was over and i did bicycle legs and belly massages.

Its my first kid i dont know much im still learning i know enough to take care of hom but when it comes to meds and all that im screwed @infinite_hearts @beebaby

Aww poor baby. When I went to the pediatrician they put Vaseline on a q-tip and stuck it a little in his butt lol. Just ask your pediatrician and see what they suggest.

Is he pooping everyday? I really won't be concerned unless it was 3 days or more. Or if the pool is a hard ball.

My son gets constipated a lot. I first tried Apple juice with water.(the pediatrician suggested it) but it didn't work. MIL told me to give him a half table spoon of Karo in his bottle. But I was scared. I just eventually changed his formula to Enfamil reguline which is good for constipation.

Just because everyone says to do it doesnt mean you should. You should always consult your pediatrician before giving your baby anything. All babies are different. What worked for your baby might not work for mine. You gotta be careful when it comes to other peoples experiences. Why do you think the baby is constipated?
