I'm still "small" and this is my second pregnancy! And I'm PROUD of it... let me tell you why ladies. For all of you who have been made to feel bad about having a small bump, which I definitely have and the same people are saying the same things this pregnancy. Have you guys ever noticed that the women with the smallest bumps are "fitness" women or fashion models? Women who are EXTREMELY fit? I challenge you to look it up on google, type in "smallest pregnancy bump" and they are all women who are athletes or have athletic bodies. This is because (most of the time) it has nothing to do with the size of your baby. I repeat, you are NOT going to have a small baby. It has to do with how your ligaments stretch and how tight your ab muscles and the muscles in your stomach are! The tighter your muscles are, the harder it is for them to stretch out. That is why second and third and fourth pregnancies you get bigger and bigger, because your muscles have already stretched out before so it is easier for them to stretch the next time/s. Do women get made fun of for having a fit/ tight body when they are not pregnant? No. So why is it acceptable to make fun of them or make them feel bad about their bodies when they are pregnant? Being small during pregnancy just means that you will most likely bounce back faster after birth! So stop letting people bring you down for your "small" bumps ladies!! Be proud of it! 💜💜💜🤰
