What's your opinion on having a glass of wine during pregnancy?

I don't judge women who do, but I wouldn't do it. Some of the things I have read about it just scared me.

Will always have something to say no matter what you do or don't do, say or don't say. I would just do a light white wine 1/2 glass

Oh I was mom shamed for the first time by another pregnant mom for "not caring about my dog and my unborn child more than she does, for flying to Vegas for my birthday less than 30 weeks (but doc said I'm clear to fly up to 35), being selfish for flying to Vegas (bc apparently the ONLY thing to do in Vegas is gamble party and drugs), for not knowing how good I have my life, for not knowing a clue on work ethic bc apparently I do absolutely nothing with my life, etc"

So either way, you can't please anyone. And I realized she said those things to me bc she had high risk pregnancy and I had normal, and she wasn't clear to fly at all

And bc she was 39 weeks pregnant that gave her a perfect excuse to go off on her friend out of no where for no reason. You don't see me beinghormonal and fighting with my friends for no reason. There's being hormonal and then there's being over dramatic/jealous. If you're my friend, I would expect you to know me for me and be happy for me.

I'm all for just go with what your doctor says. But it's also not my place to tell anybody else what to do

@shinanigans my goodness lol. Drives me nuts when other mums think everything has to be their business. @tabby.clark I was just seeing how everyone felt since I've noticed alot of people are fifty fifty. I know some mums that have a glass every night while pregnant. I myself had 3 the entire time I was pregnant with my son and only 1 so far with my daughter. Some days are just really rough being stuck at home 24/7 with a human who can't talk yet

I would really love love sangria really cold, or a tall glass of beer with a Newport. I only had wine here and there. But I mean to not do ANYTHING for 9-10 months I would shoot somebody

@shinanigans 😂😂 I haven't had a cigarette in forever but swear I crave em when I'm pregnant. It's hard to fight off but that's definitely something I stay away from.

@shinanigans some days I feel like I could do 9 shots. Smoke 2 blunts. Drink a whole bottle of wine and half a pack of cigarettes but here I am, growing a baby so nope/: Lol

@shinanigans I eat hotdogs all the time😂. I don't like sushi so I luck out there. But I could go for an ice cold beer and some Jack and coke.

I could def use some hotdogs and get some loving. I'm feeling sensual but it's uncomfortable with your stomach in the way just sitting on your man

A glass is fine to me

@shinanigans after my first baby my vagina hasn't been the same 😣 it hurts too bad most of the time and I didn't even deliver vaginally

@skysmommy04 I agree and I'm such a sipper it takes me the whole day to finish if I have one

@shinanigans and it sucks because before babies we loved having sex. Now I hate it. So much pressure and pain..

I never drink during my pregnancies but I have been told that one glass of wine won't harm the baby but it is all in what kind of wine it is. My advise would be for you to ask your doc. He/She knows your pregnancy and can give you more concrete answers. 😉
