Officially 11 hours in labor being induced... I have yet to be asleep for more than 5 minutes at a time. Each time I fall asleep I have a contraction that kicks my ass. My IV has been in my arm since 9 pm with fluids running since 10. Pitocin started at 2 am and here we are. Morphine at 6:25 am and waiting on next shift to see if Im dilated to 6 or 7 so its time for my epidural and everything (my choice I dont want it before 6 cm). They said I can wait as long as I want but once the babies head is half way out they wont let me have it and I got it at 6 cm with mt daughter. Feel a bit guilty about the shot of morphine but I really hate the popping of the epidural as it goes in lol my childs father is out cold and my boyfriend wont be here for another hour or so. Im exhausted but wide awake. Ill meet my princess today!

I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I have given birth to 3 kids without an epidural, my most recent was 16 months ago where i was induced for the first time and those pitocin contractions were HORRIBLE but i powered through. Im being induced again tomorrow night and i have been having an anxiety attack all day about it. Part of me is debating an epidural but the thought of the needle scares me. Idk im just feeling so many emotions. Those of you who got the epidural is it worth it or is it better without? I also am scared of having a catheter. Im seriously a mess of anxiety right now 😫

Update: Brittany did not get an epidural she quickly dilated she was 4 cm then an hour later 8 cm contractions are strong and now she is a 10 cm and it's almost time to push my grandson out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
