Okay Mamas, I am still new to this Mom thing lol so I don't really know the difference between Soy formula and Pro Sensitive. My son was on Similac Pro Sensitive for 4 months and did good on it until he started getting gassy and stuff. The doctor said my only other step since he was already on Sensitive was to go to Soy. So then I put him on Gerber Soy. Ever since he has been on the Soy he doesn't take his bottles as good, I guess maybe it tastes bad or different? Anyways he is still really gassy even on the Soy. I am considering switching back to the Pro Sensitive but I hate switching formulas because it can mess with his already gassy tummy. What is the difference between Soy and the Pro Sensitive? Opinions on switching back? I'm kind of stuck as to what to do for my little man. Any ideas?

Mines on Nutramigan, because of a milk allergy,it made him really gassy with a rash .this formula helped him out alot .just took a couple weeks for it to start working
The Similac sensitive is really sweet. The main ingredient is fructose. My son was on it and we also had to switch to soy. We switched to Similac isomil. It took him a few tries, but he eventually took to it.
It's just bc the other one is so sweet.
@marinewife10, I used to use the MAM Anti Colic bottles but his colic got better, and also he began to refuse the bottles. He will only take MAM Sippy Cups now.

I don't have an option On formula... but have you tried using gripe water for the gas? Once our oldest was close to 6 months we started giving her a small amount of grape water keifer (it's a probiotic) and that seemed to also help with the gas and digestion... hope that helps!
Do you use anti-colic bottles? Sometimes that's the cause of really bad gas. Como tomo and mam bottles are great. Pro sensitive does contain milk in it and soy does too even though it says soy. If neither soy or sensitive milk don't work try Nutramigen formula but pls do consult with your baby's pediatrician first when switching formulas. Good luck mama.🌷
@megmalone625 Poor baby. Just discuss your concern with his doctor. He knows best what's best for your baby boy. Colics can be a horrible thing for babies. They will refuse to eat or suck on anything if they are in a lot of distress.
