Going in tomorrow for my last monthly check up then I'm going every two weeks. Not sure what to expect.... currently 26…

@orionsmomma got ya. I used to wonder the same thing, but i noticed everywhere is different and women get it everywhere in their 2nd trimester. Some have it done late like at 29 weeks.

@juliaschade41, yeah that's why I asked when she got it because I was told it's from 25-28 weeks when you get it done.

@orionsmomma oh that sounds like a special case probably why. I figured the only reasons would be a risk of something or failing it the first time.

@colombianprincess you can always ask if you have to take it twice. I've only heard of people taking it twice if you failed the first time, but i could be wrong! Doctors do it at different times in the 2nd trimester. I had mine done at 25 weeks.

@juliaschade41, the first time it was in the first trimester because one of my blood works cane back a little high for diabetes. But then I passed and then the 2nd time was the regular one for the 2nd trimester screening. However with my son, I also had to do it twice but they never told me why.

@orionsmomma, I took it early on maybe like 15-19 weeks. I didn't write it down :(

If I passed my first glucose test, will they give me another at some point during the pregnancy?

Same procedures nothing really new. Just ask you how you're doing and measure your belly. Pretty much it unless you need more bloodwork done.
