Ok ladies, I really need to vent here, so bare with me.
So my husbands mom is really driving me insane. For a while I just dealt with the way she is because I wanted her and my daughter to have a relationship. Well, I just found out a couple weeks ago that his mom not only takes xanax, but also takes Oxycodone, among other meds. I've stopped letting Carlie go over to his parents house because I'm simply terrified. She's been known to drop her mess before and I keep thinking 'what if?' What if my daughter gets ahold of one? His mother keeps claiming that she's not addicted to pills, it's her sickness. She also keeps complaining how we are keeping our daughter from her, but seriously.. I can't deal with how she is anymore. She would rather have her pills any day than to admit that she has a problem and get better for her own grandchild.
She also took it upon herself to add a photo of Carlie on her Facebook page today and it kind of struck a nerve. I only post photos and make them private so my friends can see them. Her page isn't private, and she decided to set that photo as her profile picture. 🙄I'm at such a loss, and sorry for the rant ladies. I'm just so over it.

She should ask permission first. Before posting anything of your daughter.

You can go to the picture and report it to facebook that it's your picture and they will remove it.

Thank you ladies!! @acesmomma @damiensmommy1117 I know that's her grand child and all but the way she's been acting is just way out of line!! Ugh. And I didn't know that about reporting it to Facebook. Thank you! Wasn't sure there was anything I could do.

It's definitely safer to keep her away from her grandmother until she's no longer a threat to the safety of your child, if that day ever comes. Like you said, what if your daughter gets a hold of something. It could very well kill her. I don't care who you are in my life, if you pose a threat to my children you can stay the hell away.

I totally get it. I'm glad you're doing something about it. Way too many people let the grandparents get away with shit that they shouldn't be.

Exactly!!! Thank you!!! @meetthevalentines2017 this lady is nuts. I told my husband that if anything ever happened to our daughter because we allowed her to go over there, I'd never be able to live with myself. He knows how I feel and he feels the same. She seriously needs an intervention or something 🙄

@jessicarose0602 maybe that's best, ya know? And I wouldn't either and I can't say I wouldn't kill her if it were me and something happened. I'd be going to jail.

@jessicarose0602 sad to say my father is addicted to morphine and Norco (used to be oxycodine) as well as muscle relaxers and klonopin and God knows what else, he never quit or admitted to having a problem for the sake of his marriage, wife, kids, or grandkids...some people are just ignorant
