What is it with families and weddings 😜

Haha all sounds familiar. One day I snapped & said if it was that much of an inconvenience they didn't have to come at all. I said it's our day. One day we get to celebrate how we want to. We're paying so all they had to do was turn up. Or not bother whatever they chose lol. Didn't hear any fuss after that.

Like I said she was telling me all this and more basically saying my wedding is an inconvenience and yep I'm pissed of now especially as ive bent over backwards for her and my nieces (booking time of work when pregnant to look after kids wile they go barbados 2x) but neva mind like u said I'm not gonna let her bring me down 😜

Well he has a lovely normal family 😜 it's mine that are stressing me out and it's because I'm having an intimate 10people only registry office wedding and my sister in law obviously didn't tell my nieces in the correct way and are hacked of that they ain't gonna see me get wed and when i asked if they wanna be at the house when I get ready apparently that's not nice for them as again they won't actually get to see me get wed o and it's on top of Xmas o and my brother is about to start his own business so can't afford to get a suit..... I could go on but don't wanna bore ya lol

Just gotta push them to the back of your mind. Considering his not wanting to come & complained about pretty much every detail they thought their views would alter my decisons. They did not lol. I actually felt more bad for my husband. I didn't understand how family could behave like that but hey ho.

My hubby's family said the exact same thing when we were planning our wedding. Don't let their negatively affect you or your plans. Smile & carry on. I didn't give too shites what his family thought.
