Sorry for this but TMI question...is blood in your bowel movements normal..?

I talked to my ob last night and have gone in already..doctor gave me a cream and some pills..

When something like that happens its better to be safe and go get checked out. Blood in your stool can mean a lot of things not just hemorrhoids.

I'm reading all these comments and I am experiencing the same thing. This is no emergency but you do want to bring it up to your doctor. My doctor suggested drying dulcoease, it softens everything. Tonight is the first time taking a pill so I'm not sure how it's gonna work for me yet. I would definitely go buy some preparation h ointment and wipes.

@alyssa5792 no not really.. It hurt to go to the bathroom a little but that was all.. It kinda shocked me.. Cause that's the first thing I thought was I'm bleeding shouldn't I be in pain

Sounds like internal hemerriod. I've had three, they're not painful but it sounds like it's what you have and is normal

@alyssa5792 I called him and he said he is going to call me back. Hopefully he doesn't take forever but I have heard those are common just never dealt with one before
