Well he ended up needing the trach.. But Pax isn't paralyzed anymore but they have to have him sedated enough to hold still till Monday when it'll be healed enough to change the tube. But he did open his eyes and wiggle a bit today. He's breathing a tab bit on his own as the medicine that stops his muscles wears off. We will have to have a 24 hour nurse here for as long as he has the trach (1-3 years ish) because he has to have eyes on him at ALL times. and he will have to constantly have an oxygen checker on him and when he sleeps or is in the car seat he will have to have a wrap around him to tell us if he stops breathing.. This is going to be way harder than we thought.. But he is responding well with all the treatment and the surgery went well.

Thank you guys! He's going to do great, and I'm so thankful that they caught this but it's what comes with it that sucks
