I'm just wonder if a baby is born around 33-35 weeks? How long will the baby's stay in the hospital?

@gabriela_duque18 nope girls develope faster than boys. You can research and girls have a way more higher survival rate being born early than boys. When we did clinicals on labor and delivery for nursing school. Our teacher told us back in the day when someone would come in premature one of the first things they asked was the sex cause little boys got the name wimpy boys cause they don't thrive to survive. But they called them that way back in the day lol our teacher was old. And used to work OB in her younger days

@gabriela_duque18 i understand completely. I'll be 32 weeks Wednesday and I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow. But I'm hoping I can talk my doctor into checking me cause afraid I'll go to early. I'm fine with her coming at 34w how ever I'd like for her to wait cause when they decide to come they will come. But I've had lower back pain ans hip pain for 4 days straight now with pressure and some cramping here and there and it just worried me cause I started losing my mucus plug at 25w

@keishacrabtree.kc, I don't have no systems yet I was just hoping my baby don't come early I want him to be healthy n not stay n the hospital for a long time

@gabriela_duque18 usually during your doctor visits if you really explain everything going on they can figure out if they think your going to go in labor early and can give you shots to mature the baby's lungs quicker and if you do have contraction and you get to the hospital soon enough they can try and stop the labor with medication how ever if your water breAks then there is nothing they can do

Try to relax as much as possible mama, don't be embarrassed to express your concerns to your Dr though to put your mind at ease. Good luck!

It depends. Baby girls usually do better with being born early rather than boys because they develope faster. Some babies go home the next day some stay for weeks or months. It all depends on your baby and hospital policy.

It honestly depends the baby. I've seen some go home after a week and some stay for months.

My brother was born at 35 weeks and stayed there for a week in a oxygen tent to help his lungs finish developing
