@scardona19 I would bet you're in the same boat, because I quit, but it was for a good reason.

In Ontario it's as long as you worked 600 hours in 52 weeks get you maternity leave

@scardona19 I quit my job to move across the country and I still get maternity through ei. I called service Canada and they said as long as you worked 300 hours in the last 52 weeks you will never be denied maternity leave.

You won't get EI or mat leave ..

I dont know of this is common in your workspace from her or others but..have u tried standing up for yourself and just explaining to them how u feel??...i know I know ..this can be awkward (as an adult bcz u dont expect to have to parent other adults) ..take them aside or approach after shift..the worst that can happen is u get let go and then u get e.i regardless! plus u can fight it for reason of leaving.take ur cell in record tho...in pocket and document document document! I can't stress this enough! You must protect yourself! Workplace bullying is no joke although seldomly spoken of. documemt every.little.detail.dates.times.incident. you deserve fair treatment! You ARE worth it! Don't get timid get angry and defend yourself ..just do it in a demure and clever manner. I'm sorry you have to go through this.i had personal experience with a similar case and you know what?! After I was gone it still went on but I spoke up and went to the labour board in addition to human rights! Not only is this person now unemployed but incurred charges for unfair treatment,human rights violations and breaking the law where payroll and my hours were concerned due the neglect of complyancy with the law. Haha the whole company was audited and fined heavily.stay strong and don't go down with a fight.be In your own corner.im there with you! Know your not alone.;) know your worth! Find out your rights and spell them out.chances are if this indiviual (s) is busy bullying they will trip over lines crossed they don't know about.find them.

I don't think you can quit unless u have doc note to do so and still collect.call labour and ask to clarify?

You only get e.i if your let go so you wouldnt qualify for mat leave if you're no longer employed
