My hubby had been my son's dad since my son was 3 n my son is 7 now. He call my hubby dad but know He has a real dad out there some where but at the end of the day he real dad STILL have not asked about him or nothing. I don't waste no time on things or people that won't benefit any of my kids or me.

Just prepared for the worse but hope for the best sort of speak. Leave the invitation open for him to do the right thing but prepare for him to do nothing he say he going to do.

@tkharlow33 from what I experienced....I would keep the door open for him to be there BUT don't expect him to. I personally would let him know n make it clear that you will never keep the baby from him but from my experience actions speaks louder than words. Be prepared to be a single mom to keep you from stressing over a jerk. I ended up putting my ex (baby daddy) on child support. But told him if he really want to see our son he is more than welcome thru the court system. My son never lasted eyes on by ex since he was 2 months old the court proved my ex was the dad n offered him visitation but my ex refused it but since paid support when he is forced to smh

@saniyyahhasan, well he says he's all about Bentley yet he hasn't been to one appointment and doesn't even ask about anything he has a girlfriend and is away at college, do I just leave him out of everything or what?
