i think next month i'll finally tell my mom im pregnant. i turn 23 september 26th. really nervous cause she jokes about it n always says i better not be. i know once i tell her she will just be disappointed and talk down on me n say i've ended/ruined my life. but i cant avoid it forever😔

@juliaschade41, i hope so. my parents usually only support me when im living according to plan though. hoping a baby will find their soft spot
I was 23 when I got pregnant. I'm 24 now. I figure as long as your an adult your parents can't say crap! Babies don't ruin lives. They come just when we need them to. They are a miracle that will show up when life knows that's what we need.
@db413, my folks don't see me as an adult. they still in denial about me growing up. they just gotta realize i see a baby as a blessing. i wasn't taking care of myself before. was going downhill fast and now its all turning around for good
@hazelnautumnsmomma125, yes. ive known him for a year but we haven't been together very long. he's moving in next month n hes so excited n happy about having a baby with me

I was 19 with my first, and my mom was SO excited. Literally as soon as I told her she took me shopping.
This time, they were not as thrilled because of who the dad is.
But they've come around so don't worry!
My mom is the same way.. strict as hell.. judgmental... all the above but she got over it. She loooves my son
