So it's been on my mind and basically won't leave. Epidural or Natural birth ? 🤔🤔🤔🤔 which did you guys do and what do you prefer ?
If you handle pain natrual but ive had 4 sofar and all epidural why suffer when you can have you baby no pain but i did try going epidural free 2 and the pain was not for me im almost due and i will try again but if its to the point were a cant i will get my epidural for sure
@tholliswilliams i didn't feel high or anything like that, but since I'm more sensitive to medication than most people I just couldn't concentrate and had my eyes closed the whole time
@pierced_momma really ?? A friend of mine did iv meds and my whole thing is I do not want that high feeling at all
Yeah. I would just play it by ear. You have until 7cm in most cases to get an epidural. Just pace yourself and do what you feel is best. It isnt for everyone
@ecahanes Those are some of the things in my list of why I want to do it naturally
@beebaby honestly that sounds like something that would happen to me knowing my body

I wasn't really natural or epidural. The people gave put pain meds in my iv for my contractions and I never got the epidural, but the meds basically made it so hard to concentrate on the birth that I couldn't even open my eyes
@tholliswilliams, yeah, so basically her body wasn't allowing her to dilate anymore, but the medicine was making her body still try to dilate, so the medicine was making her contractions feel like 10 cm but she was only 5.
I was induced (due to water breaking but peanut didn't wanna come) and tried to play out the pain but thank the lord I asked for the epidural when I did because otherwise I would be screwed. You feel so much better I think with it and you can still feel everything just it doesn't hurt. But everyone is different mama (: if you can handle no epidural you go girl! And if not that's is perfectly wonderful too. 💜
And at what @km416, said I've heard a lot of women having issues pushing because they can't feel anything
Natural and it was hard but so worth it. No long term back issues, baby births better, no drugs in your system, you can get up within a half hour after birth with no issues.
The doctor I think suctioned her out. I couldn't feel a thing they were doing. But the doctor had to help cause I couldn't push hard enough
If you get induced the pitocin it is forced labor. So much harder on the body. I would encourage letting baby come on there own naturally. Induction is the quickest way to end in c section. My epidural had 2 bed done 2 times the second time i ended up numb for 2 days. Not everyone circumstances.
@km416 i have such bad luck I feel like that same thing would happen to me. Did you end up having to push longer or ?
@beebaby 😯 6 years ?! What happened ?? That's scary to think about. She hasn't brought up inducing me yet
Well my epidural felt like it didn't work till it was time to push. I had to be given medicine to help dilate faster which made my contractions stronger. And I was then dilating so fast the medicine couldn't keep up. So that's why I'm hoping I can go natural this time cause when it came time to push I couldn't do it right cause it finally kicked in
I still have pain from my first epidural 6 years ago. Once your at the point you think you cant handle the pain anymore its pretty much over. R u being induced?
@courtney.welsh oh wow! A lot of people say it's the pitocin that makes the pain bad is that true ? My doctor doesn't plan on inducing me so far but that creeps me out
@km416 tbh I want to try natural. I have a strong pain tolerance so I think I can do it but a lot of people are trying to tell me I can't and what not but I'm probably going to try it still or AT least do how you did take as much pain as I can then if I can't do it then I will get the epidural
You could always try natural but know you have the option of an epidural if it gets too much.
My brothers girlfriend just had a baby a month ago and she was induced and didn't want an epidural, but her contractions started happening back to back but she wasn't progressing past 5cm so she got the epidural because at that point who knows how long that'll last. Hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel when you're just halfway there.
I want to try natural this time. I tried last time and almost did it but contractions got to strong. So I gave and got an epidural.
What would you do with $25,000
If you received an extra $25,000. What would you do with it? ?
What do YOU judge
Clearly, no one is a perfect parent nor do we know everything. But what’s something you judge a parent off of or just irks you?

How do you like your steak?
starbucks
What do you get?
