It didn't for me. I slept until I was 8 cm and that was with no pain meds. 🤷🏽♀️
Yes I had to get induce to blood pressure problems and never again I already told my doctor we need to have a plan for this baby cause they said I'll probably have to get induced again and I said not with pitocin I was screaming for hours they had it all the way up and had to turn it back down to 4 till they could get me the epidural I couldn't move breathe nothing it was the worst thing ever for me that's my experience I've know people that have had no issues with it
The Business of Being Born on Netflix does a good job explaining it.
Yes ma'am. It's ONE reason why inductions can be miserable for both mommy & baby.
I've only had one kid but I had piticon and it was absolutely miserable
That's the devil serum when it comes to labor. It intensifies your contractions to force you to dilate
@momofdeuce, I've heard too. I didn't think they could get more horrible than they already are 😭
It takes some time to kick in. I've only had to have pitocin with my most recent birth and compared to my other deliveries for me it felt a little stronger. Thats bcuz that pitocin is really pushing things along and at some point it hits you a little harder than it would hit you if the contractions happened full blown without it. I NEVER get an epidural and I NEVER will. I go all natural. So I definitely feel everything and remembering the difference lol....
