ok mommies i need some advice!! So yesterday was the first day of school for my baby.....she is 10 and started 5th grade. She came home upset saying that she was being made fun of for having "hairy" legs and being called a boy. I dont remember when i started shaving my legs. A part of me doesn't want her to start yet but i also dont want her being made fun of either. How should i go about this? Let her start shaving, try using Nair or just wait a little longer?
I started shaving for the exact same reason but kids made fun of my mustache too. I started shaving in 4th grade
I went through the same thing as a child. Its not fair. From elementary to high school. I am glad that now they see bullying as a problem. I learned as time went on. That if someone takes the time out just to say something negative about you that you mean something to them. Or other wise why would anyone brother?
@casstaylor0421 I vaguely remember we tested a small patch out first. Now they have the kind for sensitive skin and with aloe, they didn't have that back then. But I still use it from time to time and I use the sensitive one, I've never had any issues.
Kids are so horrible now a days!!! She has been made fun of just about every year because she wears glasses.
When I was her age I had the same problem. My mother allowed me to use Nair (just up to the knee) until I got a little older then I began shaving.
Kids can be so mean! That would be a hard choice but if it upsets her I would let her shave. I remember starting to shave around 5th-6th grade
I had to start shaving when i was her age
I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!
Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
FTM problems...
So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It...
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
I dont want to leave my baby in daycare I want my baby with me she is so small I want to take care of her!!!!
Thanks ladies, we are going to do the shaving tonight!
