I'm 30 weeks and people keep asking me why do I say I only have 6-7 weeks left in my pregnancy...…

I had the cerclage and went to 38 weeks. I had like a band of scar tissue on my cervix from the cerclage and when I went in to labor I wasn't dilating. I got the epidural so they could break it up because it's so painful and as soon as they did I went to a 3 and I dilated fully within a couple hours. But yeah I definitely had everything ready at 36 weeks just in case!

@arielharbeson, was this your only pregnancy?

@mitiacarolina3, my 2nd my 1st I had at 26 weeks

@arielharbeson, I've had 2 miscarriages prior to this pregnancy and had my cerclage placed when I was 13 weeks

@mitiacarolina3, how far along did you get with the miscarriages? If you don't mind me asking.

@arielharbeson, one at 16 weeks and the other at 20 weeks

@mitiacarolina3, I didn't have a cerclage with my first since we didn't know my cervix was weak but this time I got it at 14 weeks and I did a progesterone shot weekly. That's awesome that you've made it this far though I know with some people even the cerclage doesn't work. I know I was a nervous wreck around week 26. I'm sorry about your first 2 babies I can't imagine going through that!

@arielharbeson, I thank God that I had my husband and that we got through it without letting it tear us apart. After my cerclage, my doctor refused to put me on bed rest told me it would do more harm than good. Now with every ultrasound they treat me like a regular pregnancy instead of a high risk even though I can't work or lift anything heavy

@mitiacarolina3, yeah when I had my daughter at 26 weeks it about tore me and my bf up. Stuff like that is soooooo hard on relationships!! I didn't do bed rest either just told don't lift over 10-15 lbs and pelvic rest.

@arielharbeson, my husband was torn but he understood that as a mother it would hurt me a little more so he had patience and just prayed with me and told me we could always try again.
