Went for an emergency scan yesterday due to suspicions of my baby not growing, they said he's fine just on the lower end of normal, I'm 34+4 his estimated weight is abit over 4 pounds and measuring little small but everything's ok anyone else had this, some people saying it's because I don't eat enough like its my fault, so been feeling bit shitty :/

It was lol, yea the waiting is the worst bit! Especially if your always in pain and your feet and legs are all swollen lol xx @lexi109
@jadeandscarlett, awe bless must a been bit scary eyy, and yh well midwifes and that havnt said anything so you're probably right I just want him here now so it's all out the way and I can look after him lol, getting inpatient aha xx
Yea no one had any idea about it they thought i had a low placenta thats why i was having the c section, its just when doctors think it would be better if baby came out and book a date for a c section. I dont think your baby is small because of your eating. I had no appetite really when i was pregnant x @lexi109

I did, i had an elective c section at 37 weeks, turns out i have half a developed womb thats why my daughter weighed 4lb 9oz. She didnt have much room to grow bless her lol @lexi109
I hardly ate and my girl came out at 6lb 11oz and they said she wpuld only be around 5lb! My midwife told me They ain't always right as the baby isnt in front of them for them to messure and what they do is just a rough guess basically xx
Honestly hun I wouldn't worry if the midwives are saying not to! Nothing wrong with a small baby! My nephew was 9 weeks early weighing 3lb 12 and now he's nearly 3 and is a tank and developed as he should! Definitely don't blame yourself for anything you're doing great xxx
@olivia161, awe that's good then and yh I suppose, I we to in for cramps on saterday that's when they measured my bump at only 30w instead of 34 but the scan showed he had grown just not as big as he should be but nothin to worry they said, but yh people just assume because I'm small and use to have bad eating habits that I don't eat but I do because of the baby but just don't eat loads all the time it's hard to I'm sick a lot if I do xx
Don't listen to people saying its your fault. They can be very wrong about weight, they induced me because they thought my sons weight had stumped. Said he was 8 pounds and even though ots a good weight they said he wasn't following the line and his growth stalled. He was born a healthy 8lb 7 xxx
I barely ate 3/4 of my 2nd pregnancy due to sickness & just being off pretty much all foods. Max was born 8lbs 2oz lol. Eating for 2 is a myth, an excuse we all use when pregnant. Well I didn't because I didn't want too! Obviously we need to try and be healthy but some babies are just small, just like some are big.
