Looking for advice and info on babies who have or had strider.
@meme2393 thank you, I will. As soon as he goes to the doctor i'll message you.
@savanna_garcia, I just read up
On it! Hopefully all goes well keep me updated!!
We are trying that but he said from the way I described it, it sounds like a floppy airway. @meme2393
@savanna_garcia, hmmm I never heard of that. What if he sleeps propped up instead of flat
Which like I said he is going to see another Dr tomorrow. He maybe makes that sound one to two times a day if that.
@meme2393 I talked to another doctor earlier and he said it sounds like a floppy airway, but I made an appointment. His breathing hasn't really changed he seems to be breathing fine but to me it sounds scary. its just when he lays flat sometimes he makes a high pitch sound.
@savanna_garcia, you most definitely need a second opinion! I don't know to much about strider by its self cause my son had croup at the same time and that is like larengitis( I suck at spelling) for babies and my sons throats was swelling up. Take him to the er and tell them he can't breathe good. My son needed breathing treatments that only the hospital can give
I got sent to children's hospital via ambulance when my son had stridor at a year old and had to stay two days until it all disappeared . I think u need a second opinion because stridor is very serious and needs medical attention asap
Mine is 2 weeks today and it just started up pretty bad the past couple days. I called his pediatrician and she said it sounds like strider that normally they grow out of it. It just scares me because it sounds like he can't breathe. @meme2393
@meme2393 he was checked today and its just a floppy airway.
