Buy a bunch of ice packs or make your own that's what I do with my husband or you can do things like pbj or banana and peanut butter sandwiches or they have tuna kits with mayo packets that don't need to be refrigerated and just throw some bread in so he can make his own

I'd do sandwiches you could also make like cold pasta salads if he eat that my man loves cold pizza so if yours would eat it you could make it homemade and pack it

I make him spaghetti hamburgers meat he pretty much takes the last night left overs he uses a lunch bag that has a ice pack we also live in az so if it needs to be heated he could just leave it in the car and it will be hot lol..my hubby also works outside he's an electrician.

I make him egg burritos and bean burritos also make sandwiches pack him some fruit and protein bars👍🏻
