I'm about to try skyla (it's the little sister of merina), less hormones, is good for 3 yrs but can be removed anytime and fertility goes back to normal right away.

I was thinking of the implant cause you can still breast feed and it's in your arm you don't gotta worry about taking anything everyday. I usually don't like others BC methods besides pill or implant cause I feel the other ones mess with your hormones tooooo much! And mess with fertility 😰

@karinecastrejon when it's taken out does it generally take long before being able to conceive again?

@maesmommy04, I haven't had it yet. I've always been on the pill up until I stopped to try for baby. Which I was able to conceive within the 2 weeks after I stopped it. But I've heard the implant, just as the same as with any form of BC , you can conceive as soon as it's out/you stop. Every woman is different but I've read some it has taken a few months. Just depends on your body and when it starts ovulating again

- I'd suggest the copper IUD, i had one for nine years. Had it removed, and conceived 6 months later.. there's no hormones so you're not crazy or gaining weight. That and I suck at taking pills. Even vitamins are impossible for me to remember to take lol

I've only ever been on the pill or had the nexplanon implant and I would not suggest the nexplanon or implanon. I had almost every had side effect you can have from the nexplanon.

@michellelee1510 I was on Skyla and hated it! I was cramping constantly. Took it out after 3 months. Gonna try arm bar after baby is born
