It's really frustrating when family has something to say when my son cries for "too long". He wakes up hollering sometimes for his late night feedings and I can't make a bottle carrying and comforting so he cries for less than 5 minutes but they get upset. He never cries any other time but when I need to make a bottle or prepare a bath for him with no help.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
i finally let him do it I finally let DF throw away my foundations. He says I look better without it. He said he hates seeing me cover my face with make up when I can just wear mascara and eyeliner. He says it makes me look fake and he said he's not saying it to be mean, hes saying it because he cares. Im glad he's real with me. He says I have natural beauty. He says he doesn't like it when I dye my hair or wear make up because he loves my natural beauty. I know some girls feel as though that they need make up but they don't. Make up to me is just to do it for fun and sometimes when I feel insecure. Hes the only man that has made me feel beautiful without my hair straightened, without make up on and in my baggy clothes. I can burp in front of him, I can do weird things in front of him, etc. He has taught me so many things in the last (almost) 3 years and im so grateful for him. He taught me how to make pork chops and steaks, how to play some videogames, how to make white rice, how to budget, etc.
Am I the only one who cries when they’re angry? I hope I’m not the only one, I have no clue why I cry when I’m angry 🙄🤦🏻 ♀
I swear he makes my day! My SS came over and first thing he did was hug me and said happy Mother's Day! I swear I cried when I went to lay down in bed, I literally just walked in the door from an hour walk, I took off my shoes and I hear a knock it's him and grandpa Phil lol and I swear this boy is amazing lol.
When your newborn decided that he no longer wishes to be breastfed hours after leaving the hospital 😑😑 scared the hell out of me because he refused to stay latched.. come to find out, I wasn’t making food for him fast enough to please his appetite so I had to make him a formula bottle..... he killed 1 oz before I could make sure he knew how a bottle worked 😑 only 3 days old but has the appetite of a grown man

@taradee17, and it's the same with me. I never let them cry. I hear them saying "you're spoiling him" because when he cries and doesn't want to be put down, I keep him in my arms. I can't win. 😞

You don't have to feel bad set the baby down an make the bottle they will be okay waiting one minuet for the bottle !!! You are okay girl
I don't let my baby cry but when you have to make a bottle you have to it's so hard to make a bottle holding a baby so don't over work yourself

Dont let them upset you, you're doing a good job! Why dont you make it a little easier for yourself and make bottles ahead of time so when he wakes you have it already made?

@beansmuva, Ugh that sucks!!! It's unfortunate because especially with our first babies, mothers are usually our go-to person for support and anything baby. The last thing you need is your mom criticizing you on something you're still learning. She's been there- She should know better!
I'm really sorry hun. Continue doing what you're doing though because from what I can see you're doing an amazing job!

@dazzlingmommy, that's what I'm saying! 😞 They don't help me any other time but when they feel like it. I literally have to stop myself from arguing with my own mother who sees me trying but would rather criticize me.

My son was colic so I know what crying for "too long" means. 5 minutes is not too long. ✋🏼
